Filter Kit B – Rainwater Harvesting
- Description
Filter Kit B is designed for roofs with a maximum area of 450m² and includes a two-stage rainwater filter unit, siphon overflow, and calmed inlet.
Upon entering the filter, water initially passes through the first cascade to remove larger debris particles. The pre-filtered water then proceeds through the secondary sieve filter (mesh size 0.65 mm), which effectively captures any remaining debris.
The filtered water, now clean, enters the tank through a calmed inlet, ensuring minimal turbulence and preserving sediment at the tank bottom undisturbed. This method of rainwater entry also oxygenates the water, preventing anaerobic decomposition.
To further enhance water quality, the overflow siphon incorporates a skimming inlet, removing additional debris, oils, and floating contaminants from the water's surface.
